Non School Day Care
These days of care are available only to families who have registered for our Extended Day Preschool program.
Registration for Non-School Day care, exclusively for those enrolled in Extended Day Preschool, for 2024-2025 opened June 3, 2024 at 8:00 a.m.
We are excited to be offering these days of care as individual registrations, as it allows families to choose and pay for only the days that they need. Because this is a new system to Early Childhood we appreciate the grace and patience you offer us as we work through program adjustments.
For example, our locations for the Non-School Day care may differ from the location you generally access preschool. This is because we will need to staff according to registrations, and location may be dependent on the number of registrations per site. We will always have the Harley Hopkins Family Center available for Non-School Days, which is our main location for our Early Childhood programs, and the site is ideally suited to the care of our youngest scholars. We will have additional sites open as we see those sites have sufficient registrations for the day.
The Non-School days contract is a separate contract from the school year contract. The deadline to register for non-school days is the 15th of the prior month. Contracts will be approved on a first-come, first-serve basis. Enrollees who register for the non-school day are responsible for payment unless written notification (email is sufficient notice) of cancellation is received in the billing office at least two weeks (14 days) prior to the non-school day. A $20 fee per child will be charged for each change or cancellation. Those who register after the deadline and get approved will be charged at a higher rate.
Important Considerations for Non School Day Care Registration:

Families will provide meals and a snack from home during these Non School Days, although our programs will also have some basic snacks available.

Our registration locations will be listed as Harley or Meadowbrook - please remember that these locations may change due to registrations. We will let you know if there are location changes a minimum of 48 hours before the day of care.

The daily rate for Non School Day Care is $50. If you access ThinkSmall or other approved Child Care Assistance, this rate may be covered by your scholarship.

Choose the day(s) you would like to register and follow the prompts for completing registration. This process is likely to take about 15-20 minutes.

The system will send an automated confirmation email when the registration has been accepted.

If you access ThinkSmall or Child Care Assistance, registrations will not be approved until documentation of your benefits are confirmed with our front office.
